Boleslav in Skopje lost during a power play
In the first match of the third qualifying round of the European League the Boleslav team lost by two goals and will be in a very difficult position in the next match. Almost for an hour they were able to keep a no-goal situation, but after Hůlka was sent to the bench weakening the team they let their opponents to take the lead.
The match was played at the largest and the most modern stadium in Macedonia, which is officially known as the National Arena Philip II of Macedonia and it is the home of the most successful Macedonian club Vardar Skopje and the Macedonian national team. Third of the stadium capacity of 33,000 was filled by home supporters.
Boleslav began the first half really shy and had to face a great offensive play of their opponents for 10 minutes and had to deal with two dangerous chances of the opponent. However, during the course of the match they began to dictate the game with combinations but unfortunately did not score from any opportunities they built. Golgol, Mebrahtu, Magera or Kalabiška where unable to score from two opportunities. Before the end of the match Diviš saved Boleslav by destroying a great chance of Hasani.
During the second half Chramosta and Magera were not able to score and make use of chaos in front of the Macedonian goal and dangerous counterattack was stopped by Hůlka by tripping Hasani which resulted in elimination of Hůlka. The weakened Boleslav team was not able to defend itself a long time.
During the 68th minute a clearly offside position was overlooked by the assistant referee Belski and Junior made use of this chance and scored 1:0.
During the 74th minute Hasani made use of a sharp pass from the right side and aggressively shot the ball passing near the closer pole of the Boleslav goal and scored 2:0.

The coach of Boleslav team Jarolím still believes that Boleslav will move forward
Even though the Boleslav team lost to Macedonia by two goals their coach believes that during the next match they play against FK Shkëndija 79 Tetovo they will turn the negative balance into a successful win and that they will move forward into the European cup.
The coach of FK Shkëndija 79 Tetovo Bruno Akrapovič came to the press centre in the National Arena Philip II of Macedonia. Against all odds he was not happy with the 2:0 score but he looked serious almost worried as if he was afraid of the next match. Let us hope we are right ...
The coach of Boleslav team Karel Jarolím was very mad due to the 0:2 score and used harsh language outside of the Skopje press centre. "At the beginning of the match our players were very nervous. Why it is beyond me. Gradually, they managed to keep the play calm and were able to control the larger part of the first half except for the end when Hasani got his chance. It is a pity that we did not score from any of our many chances. Of course the second half of the match was impacted by the fact that we played only with 10 players for half an hour. During the power play, we were not able to defend properly and paid for it. Goals increased the self-confidence of our opponents. We did not play a game that we needed and what we can do. It is however in our power to do something with the unpleasant development", said Karel Jarolím immediately after Boleslav lost to Macedonia.
