Coach Jarolím has no clue why Boleslav players erred so much

Lyon's manager Fournier marked Ščuk's failure to score the penalty as the decisive moment of the game; Jarolím, Boleslav's coach, was disappointed by the performance of all his players, who he had expected to play better football.

Lyon's manager Hubert Fournier wished to score one, or better, two goals while receiving none, before the game. "The first competition match in the new season was a step to the unknown. Our opponent's failure to score the penalty decided the game in our favour. Afterwards, we gained the necessary lead and secured a good position before the second leg," commented on the successful game Hubert Fournier, who, eventually, did not regret the goal received after his team had scored four; he commended the young striker Yattara for his two goals.
Boleslav's coach Karel Jarolím was downcast after the shattering defeat at the hands of Lyon. "Lyon are strong at the ball, but it's our fatal errors that decided the game. We did not guard the header before the first goal; we received the second goal after a mishandled corner kick. Never ask me about the third goal and our defenders' disagreement as to who should clear the ball before the fourth one is simply beyond any understanding."
He commented on the failed wasted penalty kick: "It can happen that you fail to score a penalty, I'm not going to reproach Ščuk for that, but his poor performance in the entire course of the game affected the result much more. None of his team mates showed a good performance, though. Why was that, I can't explain."
How does Karel Jarolím view the second leg?
"It would be foolish to muse about the second leg in Lyon right now. We have to concentrate on Sunday's league fixture against Dukla, which is going to be difficult. We have to shake it off and forget about this defeat by Lyon. Our aim in next week's game in Lyon will be to play a better game than the home test."
