They've come back from Larnaca with small hope for rematch

The initial match of the third preliminary round of the European League took place in deadly heat in Larnaca. The temperature at the time of the beginning (6 pm local time) considerably exceeded 30°C. The home team deliberately moved the kickoff time from originally planned eight pm in order to make it more difficult for the players of Mladá Boleslav, used to Central European conditions. And they were so harsh, that the referee suspended the match after half an hour to allow general refreshment break. Boleslav started with one change in the basic lineup compared to the last preparation match and the super-cup duel in Pilsen. Táborský sat on the bench, and Řezníček played from the first minute.
He was joined by Janíček, Kalina, Štohanzl, Zahustel, Wojnar and substitute goalkeeper Šeda. Johana, Fabián and Ščuk stayed home, all of them for health reasons. Ten minutes later there was necessary change in the Boleslav's defence, when Neuwirth asked to be replaced due to muscle problems.

Both teams played carefully in the first half. They did not give up offensive game, yet both parties missed enough accuracy and vigour to score. Larnaca had three corner kicks in the first fifteen minutes, and seven in the whole half. Boleslav did not have one, and two hopeful offensive attempts were stopped by referees because of Chramosta's corners.
Řezníček made it through the right defender in the 12th minute and passed to Chramosta. The latter shot a very weak ball from twelve metres. Neither succeeded Opiela's and Kulič's centre passes from the right,
Janíček lost the ball in front of his own penalty area in the 15th minute, and Miller diverted the unforgiving shot by Mrdakovič above the goal post.
After foul on Chramosta and free kick by Kulič it was Řezníček who tried as he might to conclude the action, but he was offside. Boleslav's offensive in the 30th minute ended with Kúdela's volley, or attempt at one, followed by weak shot towards the goalkeeper by Opiela. One minute later Procházka tried to outsmart he goalie technically, but failed.

In the end of the first half Garcia chased Boleslav's defence. His weak shot in the 32nd minute was intercepted easily by Miller; two minutes later he pushed for another chance, but Rolko succeeded to kick the ball to the fifth corner at the last moment. He made it in the 39th minute behind Kysela's back, and made the side net of Boleslav's goal wave.
The seventh corner kick of Larnaca in the last minute of the half was missed by Rolko and Miller, fortunately Opiela tamed the beast and sent it safely away.

Kúdela opened the second half by a beautiful cannon ball. Surprised Negri pushed it away. Kúdela lost his fight by the side line in the 51st minute, Priso took the game to Boleslav's 18-yard line and passed sideways to the running De Cler who missed Miller's goal from ten metres.
Kulič kicked the first corner of his team in the 56th minute. His grounder found Kúdela, whose shot was punched to the left goal post by unready Negri.
De Cler's centre pass in the 58th minute made it round Rolko straight to Mrdakovič's feet; he had time enough to prepare for shooting, but failed to overcome Miller. One minute later Mrdakovič overshot the goal from twenty metres.

Referee was strict in judging the clash between Janíček and De Cler in the 61st minute, and Van Dijk made full use of the penalty kick near the left post - 1:0.
Larnaca was quite eager. Mrdakovič headed centre pass from Priso in the 63rd minute towards the left post.
Boleslav's defence was utterly miserable in the 73rd minute. Centre pass from the left went right in front of the goal box, and free Garcia was given one hell of a chance, knocking the ball behind Miller's back from two metres - 2:0.
Indirect free kick of Boleslav in the 75th minute was followed by Larnaca's break, Eken made it past Šírl, passed on the ground in front of the goal, where Mrdakovič missed the space between the three posts from a couple of steps.

Boleslav finished the last ten minutes with ten players, because Chramosta left the pitch due to injury, and coach Koubek did not have any substitution left.
Larnaca's joy was topped up in the last minute by the left fullback De Cler. Miller tried to reach out for his shot to the left post in vain - 3:0.
