Boleslav lost to Sparta in a tough and dramatic match
Boleslav lost the first half when Sparta's Kweuke scored after pass from Kerič. Chramosta managed to tie the game after the break, but Boleslav cheer lasted for only two minutes. The winning goal was scored by Sionko after another pass from Kerič.
Dramatic soccer without compromise was played from the opening whistle. Kweuke won a corner kick for Sparta in the very first minute. Boleslav defended it successfully. Sionko ran away from Kysela in the 5th minute and his centered pass found Kweuke in front of the goal. Śeda's bravery saved the situation, and Kysela cleared the ball to safety. Boleslav replied immediately. Mendy zigzagged into the penalty box, and his cross-shot from a tight angle missed the right post by inches.
Sionko centered a passed in the 36th minute from the right to Kerič who was waiting at the far post, his header back across goal found Kweuke, who had no problem score with his head into the empty goal - 0:1. But things might have been worse after only two minutes. After an attack and centered pass from the right, Kweuke had the chance to shoot inside the penalty box, but Šeda was ready.
Three minutes before the break Kulič was fouled on the edge of the area, but Blažek stood tall and managed to divert Fabián's free kick away for a corner. Kulič took the resulting kick but Blažek easily saved from high above his head.
Kysela threw a ball into the Sparta goalmouth in the 63rd minute. First Mendy dribbled free and shot. The ball was blocked by the defence and fell to Opiela, but his shot did not make it through the wall of opposing players either. It was Chramosta's who reacted quickly and bundled the ball into the net behind Blažek's back - 1:1.
But the joy lasted for only two minutes.
Kerič passed across the goal in the 65th minute, where the unmarked Sionko scored easily - 1:2.
At the end Boleslav went on an all-out offensive, employing the height of Rolko up front and leaving only three players at the back: Kysela, Procházka, and Šírl. But Sparta was careful and threatened on the counter attack. On one of the breaks Kweuke approached Šeda from the right, but he was up to the task and slid under the striker's feet, blocking the ball and preventing the goal.
Boleslav did not get the desired points, and fell behind in the long queue for third place in the league.
