Match without sparks and goals
In the cold autumn air, the match participants performed without a spark. The first 15 mins. aside, the players failed to work any real chances and, therefore, it was no surprise that the match ended in a goalless draw.
The Hradec players begun more ferociously, and in the initial ten minutes, they tirelessly crowded Miller's goal. He was fortunate to escape a well taken free kick from the side line when he managed to defend his goal with the help of his teammates at the price of a corner kick. The 4th minute saw Dvořák fire over the Boleslav goal from the 6-yard box after running onto Pilař's centred pass. In the 8th minute, Miller turned an explosive Hochmeister free kick away for Hradec's second corner. In the 15th minute the Boleslav's defence survived a moment of hesitation between Rolko and Kalina.
It was the 25th minute before Hanuš, the Hradec's goalie, was credited with his first intervention in the match. Without any difficulty he caught Opiela's shot from twenty meters. Three minutes later Miller again had his gloves full after a long-range shot from Wozniak.
Boleslav weathered the initial Hradec onslaught, but with only a few hints of chances, not one player effected a shot on target. Therefore, the first half ended without goals.
No goal was scored in the second half either. Contrary to the first act, the Boleslav players begun more actively after the break. They forced three corners however, no real chances. Both teams goalies were only tested with long-range shooting attempts. Hanuš managed Opiela's shots, and Miller managed Fischer's blows. In the 79th minute, Fabián passed the ball to Procházka in front of the penalty area and he was fouled by an opponent while shooting. Chramosta sent the following free kick high over the goal.
Hradec's players earned a free kick from an advantageous position at the edge of the penalty area in the last minute. Kasálek smartly played it to an uncovered Poděbradský who fired his effort high over the bar from outside twenty meters.
The goalless draw saw Boleslav extend their unbeaten league match run to seven in a row, and it remains among the five best teams in the Gambrinus league.
