The first win comes from goals by Sylvestre and Bulut
The Gambrinus League newcomer has a non-complying stadium, and therefore the "Na Stínadlech" football arena in Teplice has become the substitute for their home pitch. It was a well-known environment for Mladá Boleslav, and they won this match after having controlled most of the ninety minutes of events on the pitch.
In the first half, Ústí nad Labem started with respect, which they soon lost, however. Mladá Boleslav was more certain about making a concerted move, and they outplayed their rival using short passes. However, for a long time they did not manage to have any shots on target.
In the 26th minute, Kalina tried to reach a good shooting position after running the ball, but he was brought down. Táborský cleverly squared to unmarked Sylvestre on the left, who ran the ball easily into the penalty area. Before the defender got to him, Sylvestre found a gap between the right goalpost and a hand strained in vain by Ústí's goalkeeper, Novák - 0:1.
Three minutes after the goal was scored, Mendy was running the ball towards Ústí nad Labem's goal, but defender Valenta blocked his shot. Mladá Boleslav's goal made the team calm, but perhaps too much, and they offered Ústí nad Labem some chances to equalize the game. In the 30th minute, goalkeeper Miller was unable to hold a centre, but then he prevented a goal in cooperation with Rolko, who paid for the dramatic situation in front of the Mladá Boleslav goal by being painfully kicked. In the last five minutes of the second half, the Mladá Boleslav defence defeated Ústí nad Labem's efforts to score by Krbeček after Kraut's assist, and by Valenta after Doležal's corner kick.
In the second half, Mladá Boleslav secured their lead in the 57th minute. Táborský managed a beautifully straight pass between Ústí nad Labem's centre defenders to Bulut for a clear chance to score. Bulut's shot hit goalkeeper Novák, who had run out from the goal; the ball bounced off the goalkeeper to team-mate Polák and then into the goal - 0:2.
Ústí nad Labem had a chance to get back into the game in the 65th minute when, after Kalina fouled Krbeček, the referee ordered a penalty kick. The nervous penalty kicker kicked the ball ten meters high over Miller's goal.
In the seemingly decided game, offensive actions followed one after another on both sides. However, the score has not changed. Mladá Boleslav deserved the points, and it was a good start to the new Gambrinus League season 2010/11.
