Strahov victory - mastery and confidence
The Boleslav team controlled the match and there was no doubt about the winner. Two goals were scored by Sylvestre, and Kulič and Chramosta added one more each. As for their overall results, the team keeps sixth place in the table and got closer (by three points) to the fifth-place Plzeň team.
In the pleasant atmosphere of the shiny Strahov stadium, the match was promising for the Boleslav football players from the very beginning. They were leading from the 7th minute of the match. Sylvester initiated action on the left side of the pitch. Sedláček handily passed the ball to the running Hrdlička, who worked his way into the penalty area of the opposite and passed the ball to Kulič who, from the goal area, shot his eleventh league goal of the season - 0:1.
The second goal came in less than thirty minutes. Beláň, the goalkeeper, tripped Chramosta within the goal area and the penalty kick was then successfully converted in the 32nd minute by Sylvestre. 0:2.
The Boleslav team earned the first-half lead well. The players were more active for most of the time. It was just for a couple of minutes at the end of the first half when the game took place in front of Šeda's goal.
Shortly after the change, the Boleslav team scored for the third time. Kulič outran the Střížkov defenders at the right wing and passed the ball in front of the goal to Chramosta, who shot the ball past the goal-keeper, scoring 0:3.
For the second half, the Střížkov team changed two players and played with only three defenders at the back and with three forwarders. Only two minutes had passed from the third ball in their goal when the net bulged on the opposite side, behind Šeda' s back too. It was the 51st minute of the match when Kincl converted the penalty kick - 1:3.
Then, in the 58th minute, Mendy hit the post. Three minutes passed and Bořil missed his hundred-per cent chance. Boleslav did not increase their lead until the 74th minute. Chramosta moved the game over the width of the pitch to Táborský, who was free at the moment, and was able to centre the ball to Sylvester, who then headed it into the net - 1:4.
Six minutes before the end of the match, after Flachbart's penalty kick, Ibe headed the ball to the right post of the Boleslav goal to a point inaccessible from Šeda's instant position - 2:4.
The Boleslav team was short of four regular players: Kúdela was sent off during the previous match; Rolko the centre-back left the team after eight cards; and Zahustel (half-back) and Miller (goalkeeper) had been injured.
