FK Mladá Boleslav - FC Viktoria Plzeň 3:0 (2:0)
The Mladá Boleslav players retaliated to a two-goal autumn defeat with an addition. They shot three goals past their rival from Plzeň and except for a short passage in the middle of the first half, they were clearly better and entertained the audience with their offensive performance. The goals by Rajnoch and Hrdlička knocked Plzeň down during a successful first half and the substitute T. Sedláček added the third goal after the break. Moreover, Táborský hit the crossbar. Opiela introduced himself for the first time in front of the home crowd in the Boleslav shirt after long-term recovery from a muscle injury incurred during a winter preseason camp.
Mladá Boleslav obtained a corner kick from the first attack, however, the Plzeň players managed to defend it. Poláček started an attack along the left-hand side after good interplay with Kalina in the 3rd minute and Rajnoch volleyed his centred pass into the Plzeň goal – 1:0.
The Plzeň players were unable to make any meaningful attacks and the Boleslav goalkeeper did not need to make a save before his Plzeň opponent L. Krbeček had to pull the ball from his net again. Kysela fought his way along the goal line to the edge of the goal area and his pass found Hrdlička who shot between a defending huddle of Plzeň players and scored on 14 minutes – 2:0.
The Boleslav players started the second half in a similar fashion as the first. Mendy and Poláček played an elegant one-two and Mendy found himself in a good striking position. His shot just cleared the top corner of the goal.
Only a minute after substituting Mendy, Táborský headed the ball onto the crossbar from a corner kick taken by Kalina on 50 minutes. Nobody punished the hesitant intervention of the Plzeň goalkeeper after a centering pass by Kalina. Borek got the better of Kysela in the 56th minute but good defending by Rolko diverted his centered pass to T.Krbeček in front of the Boleslav goal. Táborský failed to lob the Plzeň goalkeeper after a pass by Poláček in the 64th minute and a shot by Řezníček missed an empty goal.
T. Sedláček beat L. Krebeček with his smashing shot after just three minutes on the pitch after good work by Táborský and a blunder by the Plzeň defender Smola in the 68th minute – 3:0.

Unused substitutes: Holub, Kopic and Šeda. The state of Hodúr’s ankle, injured in Zlín, worsened during a training exercise this week, so that he was not present among the substitutes.
