Redakce

After four league matches without a win, the Boleslav players once again experienced the joy of three points obtained in Liberec. They confirmed the tradition that they do not usually lose in the U Nisy stadium. The win was a nice gift for Ivan Hodúr who appeared in the jubilee 150th league match. He bought champagne for his teammates on this occasion. Moreover, the win in Liberec was the first one for the new Boleslav Head Coach Karel Stanner. Jakub Řezníček in the opening and Ivo Táborský at the very end of the match arranged for it with their precise shots. The Boleslav players let the home defeat against Brno be forgotten and should confirm the return in good form in the next match against Baník Ostrava in front of their audience.

Mladá Boleslav played more actively than the home side Slovan Liberec from the first minute. Kysela outwitted Janů after a nice pass by Ševinský again in the 10th minute and Řezníček headed a perfect centre pass even more perfectly in the Liberec net from several metres – 0:1.

A heel kick by Řezníček to Mendy was unsuccessful in the 26th minute, a shot by Hodúr was blocked by the defenders in the next minute, Frejlach managed to defend against Kysela and Mendy was unsuccessful again after a centre pass by Ševinský. The players competed in inaccuracies around the 30th minute and playing took place mostly in the middle of the pitch for several minutes. Kysela spoiled a clear chance after a centre pass by Hodúr across the width of the penalty area in the 37th minute when his volley just cleared the goal. Dočkal hit the wall made of players just before the half-time whistle from a free kick and Ševinský prevented Bílek from shooting after a subsequent corner kick.

The Liberec players started the second half more actively; however, Kysela could have scored in the 52nd minute. But he did not managed to defeat the Liberec goalkeeper after a perfect pass by Řezníček. Liberec responded to the Kysela’s chance with a break attack undertaken by Kerič; Miller saved his effort by running out of the penalty area. Řezníček touched the ball with his hand a metre in front of the penalty area and Dočkal shot the ball from a free kick from a very advantageous place along the wall so that it just cleared the top corner of Miller’s goal in the 69th minute.

Nezmar sent a ground pass to running Kerič who got the ball under control in the penalty area and defeated Miller unmercifully in the 81st minute – 1:1. The hopes of the Liberec team for a win were dashed by Dočkal and Liška with their imprecise shots.

Hrdlička ran with the ball across the Liberec half of the pitch, resisted duels with three opponent players and passed the ball to Táborský who beat the goalkeeper from Liberec from almost twenty metres away with a smashing shot in the 89th minute – 1:2. His goal drove half of the home viewers out of the terraces even though the referee added three minutes of extra time. The Boleslav players managed to hold on to the tight and deserved win.
