The team of Mladá Boleslav tied with a prominent Bulgarian club Levski Sofia 2:2 in the first match of a training camp in Cyprus. The match took place on high-quality grass of a pitch in Paralimi under floodlights in the evening on Sunday, February 11. "It was good thing that we played after sunset when considering local warm weather," praised the assistant of the head-coach Uhrin, Petr Čuhel.

The players of Mladá Boleslav started the match very well as they took the lead already in the 3rd minute. The midfielder of the national team Matějovský passed the ball from a free kick precisely to Pecka who headed it in the net of the team from Sofia. However, the opponent team managed to equalize already during the first half. The referee ordered a penalty kick against the goal of the Bulgarian team in the 44th minute but Holub missed it so that the teams left the pitch to have a rest with the equalized score.
Similarly like at the beginning of the match, Uhrin's players were better in the opening of the second half. They could take advantage of the second penalty kick. Matějovský put the ball on the penalty spot this time and he was successful. But Levski Sofia defended a tie through a precise free kick taken ten minutes before the end of the match.
"It was an even match, the tie is appropriate," said the head-coach Dušan Uhrin after the match.
