Representatives of FK Mladá Boleslav and AC Sparta Praha agreed on the transfer of forward Marek Kulič from Mladá Boleslav to Sparta for a financial reward and a year loan with an option on transfer of defender Milan Kopic to Mladá Boleslav. The contract will be signed on Tuesday, 30 January, and both Kulič and Kopic will join their new locations on this date. Further details for the club's website are under preparation and will be published immediately after the Tuesday's signing of the transfer.

Marek Kulič, the Czech team forward and captain of the Uhrin's team, leaves the Boleslav dressing room after eighteen months and joins Sparta. Negotiations between Boleslav and Sparta representatives, closely monitored and often prematurely commented and distorted by media, were stretched because of specifications of the player-for-player replacement. Today, it is clear: "From Tuesday, Kulič joins Sparta trainings and Kopic joins trainings of the Uhrin's team," said general manager of FK Mladá Boleslav, Mr. Jaromír Šeterle shortly before the midnight of 29th to 30th January.
Milan Kopic, a talented left defender moves from Sparta Praha to Mladá Boleslav. He was twenty one two months ago. He started his football career in Jihlava, where he played nine games for the then first-league novice during the 2005-2006 season. After relegation of Jihlava in 2006, he was transferred to Sparta. However, he did not get a chance in the first team and played for the third-league reserve. Mladá Boleslav got Milan Kopic on a year-loan with an option for transfer.

Marek Kulič, age of thirty from the last October, started his football career in Hradec Králové. Later on he played in Bohdaneč for two years and tried to set up a career in Drnovice unsuccessfully. In 1999 he came to Příbram, where he made himself known as a fast forward with magical tricks and selfless passes. In August 2003 he came on loan to České Budějovice and was transferred there in January 2004. After relegation, he was transferred to Mladá Boleslav in summer 2005.
He has played 43 first league games for Mladá Boleslav and scored ten goals. All of them were shot during the 2005-2006 season. During the autumn 2006, he has not scored a single goal. In spite of that fact, he was a leader of the team in the national league and European cup games. The national coach Karel Brückner and Michal Bílek, the new coach of Sparta Praha, took notice of him. He has played three games for the national team and scored ones to date. He is being transferred to Sparta Praha with the statistics of 226 first league matches and 50 goals.
