Football Players Started Winter Preparation in Spring Weather

Redakce

The players of Mladá Boleslav started winter preparation in the morning on Wednesday. The coaches Uhrin and Čuhel welcomed twenty players on the artificial pitch within the premises of the Municipal Stadium. Everybody spoke highly of unexpectedly nice weather. It was sunny and warm, temperature of approximately ten degrees above zero in Mladá Boleslav on Wednesday, January 10, 2007. Like in Italy or Spain!

The opening exercise had a character of light warming up and jogging. After warming up, the players alternated series of sprints with favourite "bago" with two ball touches. Nineteen-year old Radim Nečas was the only newcomer while David Brunclík and Michal Ordoš who played in autumn mainly for the "B" team were renewed faces. Petr Mikolanda who missed a larger part of the autumn season because of injury also participated in the exercise. Marián Palát who underwent meniscus operation during the winter break and Adrian Rolko who passed appendix operation also managed to take part in the start of winter preparation. Riegel who is in convalescence after cross ligament operation and the four players enrolled in the transfer list Vít, Šmerda, Krátký and Vaculík were missing. Miloš Brezinský who returned back in Liberec also did not take part in the opening exercise. Marek Kulič passed probably the last training exercise in Mladá Boleslav. That is to say, final negotiations with respect to his transfer in Sparta Prague started just in time of the exercise. Two talented juniors Petr Pára and Tomáš Fabián will join the Uhrin's team in the nearest days. Both of them are original players of FK Mladá Boleslav and they belong in the junior category till June, 2008 by their year of birth 1989.
