Uhrin Planned Demanding Winter Programme for the Football Players
The football players of Mladá Boleslav will play fourteen matches during seven weeks within the winter preparation. The team will also participate in prestigious hall tournament in Prague and pass two training camps. The first one in Nymburk in January and the second in Cyprus in February.
The players will meet with the coaches in the premises of Mladá Boleslav Municipal Stadium for the first time in the new calendar year 2007 on Wednesday at ten a.m. An opening match of the winter Tipsport Cup in which they will meet second-league Hradec Králové on the pitch with artificial surface within the premises of Mladá Boleslav Municipal Stadium expects them on next Saturday, January 13, 2007. In Saturday's afternoon and on consequent Sunday, they will also participate in the hall tournament under the roof of Prague Sazka Arena.
The team of Mladá Boleslav departs for a five-day fitness training camp in the sports centre in Nymburk on Monday, January 15. The team will return on Friday, January 19. It will play a match against Slovan Liberec just on Saturday in the afternoon on the home artificial pitch. Exercises in home environment and other matches within the winter Tipsport Cup tournament on the artificial pitch in the premises of the Mladá Boleslav Municipal Stadium will follow then: on Wednesday, January 24 with second-league Jihlava and on Saturday, January 27 against first-league Jablonec. The team of Mladá Boleslav travels in Prague where it will play a friendly match against Slavia in Strahov stadium on Wednesday, January 31. Other two friendly matches will take place in home stadium, i.e. against third-league Varnsdorf on Saturday, February 3 and second-league Sokolov on Wednesday 7.
The players of Mladá Boleslav will depart in Cyprus where they will participate in a ten-day training camp focused on playing on Thursday, February 8. It means that their exercises that will take place on high-quality natural grass pitches will be combined with three or four preparation matches against foreign teams. The programme of Mladá Boleslav after return from the training camp in Cyprus includes three more friendly matches before the league opening that will be a match on the pitch of Viktoria Plzeň on Sunday, March 11.
