Mladá Boleslav had a prominent supporter in the auditorium of Bloomfild Stadium during the match against Hapoel Tel Aviv for qualifying in the UEFA Cup. The Czech ambassador in Israel, Michael Žantovský, sat on the stand in the shirt of Mladá Boleslav.

"Mladá Boleslav makes good reputation to the Czech Republic in Israel. The Škoda cars provide good services for local taxi drivers and policemen. And the football club from Mladá Boleslav will also contribute to this well rooted presentation now," said the Ambassador Michael Žantovský.
He participated at the official meeting of the representatives of FK Mladá Boleslav and Hapoel Tel Aviv personally on the eve of the match and could not miss the match itself. He watched it from the main stand, sitting between the bosses of FK Mladá Boleslav Josef Dufek and Jaromír Šeterle. Even if Mladá Boleslav left Tel Aviv defeated, the club made no shame in Israel. The players struggled till the last minute and left the pitch with their heads up. They represented both the town of Mladá Boleslav and the Czech Republic well in front of the eyes of the Czech Ambassador Michael Žantovský.
