Defeat in Olomouc Kept Boleslav on the Fourth Position
Weakened Mladá Boleslav team suffered a defeat from Olomouc with a two-goal difference in spite of the fact that it was no less than equal opponent. But the team paid for missing scoring opportunities and loss of good luck that, on the contrary, the team from Olomouc did not miss.
Olomouc kicked five corner kicks while Mladá Boleslav none, Janotka from the Olomouc team scored once while nobody from the players of Mladá Boleslav hit the target during the first half. In spite of the above mentioned, the picture of the play was not so one-sided in favour of the team from Haná as statistics maybe could indicate. But when the referee let Holub's pulling down by Vepřek deserving penalty kick after Ordoš's header clearly visible even from the stands without punishment in the 37th minute, the Olomouc team defended their goal easily till the break. At that time, they were one goal ahead after a nice shot of Janotka who hit the left-hand upper corner of the Miller's goal from a free kick ordered strictly for Ševinský's duel with Melinho in the 29th minute - 1:0.
Pulkert from Olomouc missed a chance into which he got after Palát had lost ball in the middle of the pitch just before the break. Štěpán's break across Ševinský and Rajnoch was saved by Miller only at the cost of a corner kick.
Mladá Boleslav conceded for the second time in the 51st minute even if the team had the ball under control. Palát threw out to Poláček, Pulkert took him ball easily and Michal Hubník scored from his pass by a smashing shot under the crossbar of the goal of Mladá Boleslav - 2:0.
The team of Boleslav did not looked well at that time. The players did not managed to combine, on the contrary, the players of Olomouc were dangerous with their simple and straight attacks. However, in the 68th minute, Sedláček got a nice Abraham's pass behind the Olomouc defence and, at the boundary of the penalty area, he lobbed the ball successively over the goalkeeper Vojáček running out of the goal - 2:1.
The picture of play changed radically immediately. The Olomouc players became nervous and the Boleslav players sent one centre pass after another in the penalty area. But they did not manage to score from any one in spite of the fact that positions of Sedláček, Ševinský, Palát and others called for a goal. The match was decided definitely in the 86th minute when Schulmeister sent the ball to the right-hand post of Miller's goal after a perpendicular pass of Melinho - 3:1.
