When compared with pleasant afternoon climate, evening Bucharest got cool appreciably. The players of Mladá Boleslav could feel the change during their evening training exercise. It had traditional contents. Warming the body after journey, becoming acquainted with foreign environment and training of standard football skills. "All players are OK, I have my team complete," announced Dušan Uhrin for journalists at an official press conference in the premises of Rapid Bucharest.

The eighteen-member Bucharest squad consists of Miller, Kučera, Ševinský, Palát, Brezinský, Rolko, Rajnoch, Nesvadba, Poláček, Kysela, Vaculík, Abraham, Kulič, Holub, Matějovský, Sedláček, Pecka and Šmerda. The line-up for the Thursday's cup match will be probably very similar to that from the Sunday's match in Liberec. The head-coach Dušan Uhrin expressed his praise with respect to performance of the complete team and some individuals, he mentioned specifically Matějovský and Holub after the end of the prestigious match.
For that reason, the following line-up from Liberec will probably enjoy confidence: Miller - Palát, Rolko, Rajnoch, Nesvadba - Kysela, Matějovský, Abraham, Pecka - Kulič, Holub. "We know that Rapid plays with three defenders and three forwards. We mostly start matches with 4-4-2 line-up but I am not still sure whether we will play with two or three forwards," said Uhrin. In spite of the fact that he prefers offensive playing style, he thinks over very intensively how to eliminate the attacking force of the Rumanian opponent this time.
"We have respect for all three forwards of the opponent and we will mark them almost personally as the playing style of Rapid is based on them. We would like to win but maybe we will be satisfied also with a tie, it depends on progress of the match," added Uhrin and he believes that his players will be surprised by neither expected initial onset of the opponent nor assumed stormy atmosphere created by Rumanian supporters. After all, the players of Mladá Boleslav passed through thorough training in both domestic league and European cups, specifically on the pitch of Galatasaray Istanbul so that they should not be scared by anything.

The match of the third round of the group G of the UEFA Cup between Rapid Bucharest and FK Mladá Boleslav starts at 8.15 p.m. on Thursday, November 23 of Rumanian time, i.e. at 7.15 CET. You can follow the progress of the match through on-line coverage on this club's website.
