It was his birthday two weeks ago and he has got a delayed present from the head-coach of the national team Karel Brückner in a form of nomination in the national team. Abraham maybe will add also a premiere in the national team to 130 league matches soon. He has a chance as the national team head-coach indicated to give chance for the players from the bench against the weak San Marino national team.

He joined the national team on Tuesday, October 3 when the midfield players Sionko, Galásek and Sivok had to be omitted from the initial squad because of injuries. He slept through the first information about the nomination in the national team. "When I woke up on Tuesday morning and turned my mobile phone on, I found out that there were two missed calls from Mára Kulič and from other unknown numbers," described Abraham what preceded the joyful invitation to come to the meeting of the Czech national team players in Prague. He managed to do it during morning hours and the lunch was already served to him as a regular member of the Czech national team. "This is tremendous compensation for me for the years spent with football and for that what I have sacrificed for football," said the player born in Moravská Třebová who started to kick the ball as a boy in the near village of Rychnov and tried the Czech league in Brno for the first time. He played in Staré Město where he was a member of the teams of FC Synot and FC Slovácko since January, 2001. He moved in Liberec in 2005 and has been a player of FK Mladá Boleslav since July 2006. "I regard highly the nomination and I am aware of the fact that there is a lot of things which I should improve," says Abraham and does not think over how big is his hope to line up in the national shirt on the pitch in Liberec that he knows from playing in the Liberec league team and which is the venue of the qualifying match between the Czech Republic and San Marino on Saturday. But he does not deny that he would like to stay in the national team.
