Now in Letohrad and Only Then Rest
League clubs have rest because of national team matched after the completed ninth league round. The players of Mladá Boleslav will take a rest only after the postponed cup match against Letohrad from the fourth division that takes place on Wednesday, October 4. Then they will start the three-day rest promised by the head-coach Uhrin for heroic performance against the French giant club Olympique Marseille. Marek Kulič and Martin Abraham will not certainly take part in the cup match against Letohrad. Both of them are expected in the national team for the qualifying matches against San Marino and Ireland.
The last two duels Třinec - Zlín and Letohrad - Mladá Boleslav remain to be played of the third round of the Czech-Moravian Football Association (ČMFS) Cup. Both of them will take place on Wednesday, October 4, kick-off at 4 p.m. Mladá Boleslav qualifying through the fourth division rival seems to be expected duty. However, football is such that nothing is clear beforehand. This holds also for the Czech national cup where rivals of quite different sport quality often meet. If Mladá Boleslav players succeed, Hradec Králové team that eliminated first class Kladno in September wait for them in the fourth cup round.
Official term for the fourth round of the ČMFS Cup is Wednesday, October 25 and only the following eight couples of teams will meet in it: Liberec - České Budějovice, Břeclav - Sparta Praha, Most - Jablonec, Viktoria Žižkov - Příbram, Teplice - Plzeň, Opava - Slovácko, Ostrava with the winner of the match Třinec - Zlín and Hradec Králové with the better team from the duel Letohrad - Mladá Boleslav. The program of the ČMFS Cup for this year will be over after the fourth round. The quarterfinal matches that will be drawn only after completing the fourth round will be played on April 18, 2007.
