Mladá Boleslav lost its invincibility in Teplice. After even first half, the Teplice players were more aggressive and more successful in terminating attacks. The players of Mladá Boleslav had not enough powers to reverse the unfavourable progress of the match this time. Fatigue from the demanding program during the last days was apparent on them. "We look forward to the break for national team matches, so that we could recover our strengths during that time," said the head-coach Dušan Uhrin about the defeat.

The first half brought no goals but both teams had chances to score. Matějovský and Holub tried to shoot in the opening, but Palát had excellent chance in the 15th minute when he headed Holub's corner kick. Poštulka saved reflexively and diverted the ball to another corner kick. Abraham shot nicely to the post after it and Teplice's goalkeeper Poštulka showed excellent save again and Rolko's return shot stopped the referee by blowing his whistle because of an offside position. On the other side of the pitch, Kučera was busy after Fenin's shots after passes Džeko's operations and, above all, after perfect passes into run from Dort. Dort's shot without preparation missed our goal in the 29th minute. Kučera saved our goal by a marvellous save after Stožický's touched shot in the 35th minute. At sight even play can be documented also by the identical number of corner kicks, each of the teams could start play from the corner four times.
Teplice won the second half both as to corner kicks and goals. Shots of Stožický and Džeko missed the goal at first but then Stožický remained unmarked on the right-hand wing and overcame Kučera for the first time in the 55th minute - 1 : 0. The goalkeeper of Mladá Boleslav surrendered for the second time when he did not reached a nice Fenin's shot to the right-hand post. Teplice's goalkeeper Poštulka had to exert most effort after Abraham's smashing shot in the 70th minute. Abraham got the ball from the goal area in the net after Palát's centre pass five minutes later, but the referees regarded his position as offside and denied the goal. Mladá Boleslav played the final quarter only with three defenders and with tall Rolko in forward. Kulič came on the pitch for the last ten minutes. But any of these moves brought no change of the score of the match.
