Uhrin believes in move on
The coach of FK Mladá Boleslav, Dušan Uhrin, believes his team will continue into the next autumn phase of the UEFA Cup. He sees the hopes of the Mladá Boleslav team for a reprise in the relatively favourable result of the first match, despite going down. The cup maths considers each goal important and doubly important when scored on the opponent's field. Therefore, the missed chances of Vaculík and Kulič in the first half were a pity.
"We played a good match, the opponent didn't create too many chances I expected," Uhrin looked back after the one-goal loss in Marseille. "At home, we will try to score twice to move on." The coach of Mladá Boleslav highlighted his team does not lose on its field and he sees great chances to move on after the narrow defeat in Marseille.
"We played the match with ten and it took a lot of energy," reminding of Ševinský's sending-off. In the first half, the referee gave him a yellow card in error for a foul committed by Šmerda. And when he stopped an opponent with a yellow-card foul almost at the end, the referee sent him to the dressing rooms. Uhrin admitted his wards played too complicated football. Of two big chances, they scored zero and got one. "Kulič went alone to the goal and the match could have looked different if he had scored," reminded the situation three minutes before the break when captain Kulič went alone to Carrasso but the French goalkeeper caught him by a miracle.
