Of the current players of Mladá Boleslav, Marek Kulič is undoubtedly the biggest national star in spite of the fact that he played the first two matches in the national shirt only it this year and experienced his premiere less than two months before his thirty-first birthday celebration. "It should probably go in this way," says the skipper of FK Mladá Boleslav conciliatorily. Twenty-four years old Marek Matějovský was invited to the September's qualifying matches for 2008 European Championship in the Brückner's team together with Kulič, but he still must wait for his first appearance on the pitch in the national team.

However, FK Mladá Boleslav has other candidates of national shirt in younger categories besides Kulič and Matějovský. Jan Kysela is among substitutes of the U21 team of the head-coach Ladislav Škorpil currently. He played already four matches for the U21 team. David Brunclík also has played two matches for the U21 team during this year.
Petr Mikolanda who wore the shirt with the national emblem in three age categories already twenty-three times (seven times for U19, twice for U20 and fourteen times for U21 national team) is the most experienced young national player of the current team of FK Mladá Boleslav. He scored totally seven times (five goals for U19 and two goals for U21).
You can find three players of FK Mladá Boleslav in the official lists of players of Czech junior national teams. Daniel Dudka and Martin Kučera are members of the U17 team headed by the coach Ivan Kopecký. The first stage of qualification for the 2007 European Championship is ahead of the U17 team this September. The team will progressively meet Luxemburg in Kravaře on September 19, Slovenia in Opava on September 21 and Turkey in Frýdek-Místek on September 24.
Josef Pešice was appointed to make up a quite new U16 national team of the players born in 1991. He invited twenty-two rookies to the first training camp organized in the end of holidays on August 28-30 in Blšany. Michal Rýdl from FK Mladá Boleslav was also among them. The Prague clubs Sparta (5) and Slavia (4) supplied the highest number of players. The head-coach Pešice will nominate eighteen-member squad for the first international match confrontation on the basis of knowledge obtained during the camp in Blšany. This confrontation will take place in Belgium on September 19 and 21. The U16 national team will play next friendly duels against Slovakia on October 23 and 26.
