Sports Academy Opened by the Town Mayor Kvaizar and Football President Dufek
A new school year started also for fifteen boys and ten girls of the first sports class of the primary school in 17. listopadu street called colloquially as "Crayon" on Monday, September 4. The Mayor of the town of Mladá Boleslav Svatopluk Kvaizar and the President of FK Mladá Boleslav Josef Dufek were present at their first sitting in the school benches. The football boss came accompanied by the head-coach Dušan Uhrin and the striker of the first league team Tomáš Sedláček.
"The name of the mayor says you probably nothing, you will rather know Mr. Uhrin and Tomáš Sedláček who are sport stars like you wish to become once in the future," said the
Mayor of the town of Mladá Boleslav Kvaizar to the schoolchildren and reminded them that they are participants of a historic event, opening of a comprehensive project connecting basic education with sports training.
"I am glad that we succeeded in finalizing the project in the current shape after three years of effort," remarked the football president Dufek. He wished good health and luck to the children and patience to the class-teacher Jitka Pabištová. The director of the school Karel Hochmal emphasized that the pupils of the sports class will learn according to the same curriculum like the other schoolchildren. "They will only have one extra lesson of physical education a week within free disposal with focusing on general physical training and will pass special sport exercises only in the afternoon after school lessons," specified the director Hochmal. The boys will attend special football exercises twice a week while the girls will attend basketball exercises once a week. Sport facilities and the required material and social background directly within the school promises represent an advantage of the schoolchildren from the sports class of the primary school in 17. listopadu street. In addition to a completed football ground with the latest artificial pitch, basketball and multi-purpose grounds in the investment value of CZK fifteen million will be completed by the end of this year. A private investor should complete construction of sports premises with four other football fields and a building with social and accommodation facilities in the total value of almost CZK one hundred million in the next year.
