In the Czech Cup a repeat may take place in Náchod
FK Mladá Boleslav should compete on three battlefields this year. Apart from the 1st Gambrinus League they are also awaiting two play-off competitions. At the end of July they enter the qualification matches of the Champions' League and at the end of August they enter the ČMFS cup which has been already distributed by lots for the 2006/2007 season.
As well as all the teams in the 1st League, Mladá Boleslav also starts participation in the ČMFS Cup beginning from the second round on August 30. They will travel to the ground of their rival, which should probably be the team from Náchod, provided they pass the first round through the better team from the pair Nový Bydžov-Týniště nad Orlicí (the rivals from the preliminary round).
A year ago Mladá Boleslav left the competition due to their defeat at Náchod, having been beaten 0 to 2. This year they get a new chance. If successful, they can travel to the ground of a rival from the lower competition to play the 3rd round on September 20 (Trutnov vs. Předměřice - Holice v Č. or Tesla Pardubice vs. Letohrad).
They can meet the first rival from the 1st League in the 4th round on October 25. That could be Kladno if they pass undefeated through their rivals from the lower competition levels in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.
After the autumn cycle the ČMFS Cup will have a winter break and is to continue in 2007 with the quarter-finals on April 14, while the semi-finals are scheduled for May 9 and the final for May 23.
