The draw in the UEFA Champions League qualifications assigned the champions from Norway Valerengen Oslo to FK Mladá Boleslav. The greatest star is forward Tore Andre Flo. The first match will be played in Mladá Boleslav and the return leg in the capital city, Oslo.

Considering Mladá Boleslav was not included among the leading teams, it will play an acceptable but highly quality opponent. Valerengen Oslo are the 2005 champions (the Norwegian league is played from spring to autumn). This year, they won only three out of eleven league matches and occupy the ninth position.

Tore Andre Flo plays in the dress of the Norwegian champions, is a former stable player of Chelsea London and Glasgow Rangers, represented Norway in 76 matches and today, at 33, is still a respected personality.

Zdeněk Kudela, sports director, was present on behalf of FK Mladá Boleslav at the draw ceremony in Switzerland. He confirmed Mladá Boleslav would like to play the home match on Tuesday 25 July in order to arrange the longest possible break before the opening premier-league match with Olomouc on Sunday 30 July.

The return leg will be played in Oslo certainly on Wednesday 2 August. "The opponent from Mladá Boleslav is a big unknown for the representatives of the Norwegian club, so they asked me where Mladá Boleslav is because they only know Prague from the Czech Republic," Kudela described the first contact with the officials from the Norwegian club. The latter has, contrary to Mladá Boleslav, rich international experience, also with Czech champions Sparta Praha.
