They didn't score any points in North Bohemia
The Boleslav players conceded the sole and decisive goal in the first half. They were the more active side during this part of the game. Nothing changed in the score after the break, even when the Boleslav players attacked the Jablonec goal fiercely.
In the first half, the Boleslav goalkeeper couldn't take his attention off Lafata and Čížek, who took every opportunity to shoot, even for a moment. A smashing shot by Čížek in the first quarter just cleared the right post of the Boleslav goal and as it rippled the side of the net, half of the stands exulted in the erroneous belief that Jablonec had scored. A moment later, Šeda diverted a shot by Lafata to a corner kick.
The first real danger to the Jablonec goal only appeared after twenty minutes of playing. Kulič shot readily, after an excellent pass by Mendy, but he just hit the prepared goalkeeper, Špit.
At the end of the first half, Čížek first hit the crossbar with a free kick, then Haurdič scored easily after Lafata's selfless pass five minutes before leaving the pitch for the locker room - 1:0.
The Jablonec players continued their active playing in the second half. However, they didn't create as many scoring opportunities as in the first half. Rough skirmishes mounted in increasingly heavy rain, but only the Boleslav players were punished with a yellow card. They couldn't advance against an opposing team playing well together and a biased referee.
Opiela sent a neat perpendicular pass to the running Kulič, but the Boleslav captain was unsuccessful when face-to-face with Špit in his best chance to score. Kysela also missed a good opportunity to score.
The Boleslav players worked hard until the last minute. They developed strong pressure in the end, but they didn't manage to change the score of the game. Only two defenders, Kúdela and Djalovič, remained at the half line as Rajnoch and Rolko moved forward, but all was in vain.
